Giveaway & Promotion Rules

Who Runs Them

Every giveaway, drawing, contest, reward or similar promotion (each a “Giveaway”) on this page is run by No Porch Camping Co. (“No Porch”, “we”, “us”). Contact: info@noporchcamping.com or our contact page.

How These Rules Work

These rules apply to every No Porch Giveaway. Each Giveaway also has its own details — dates, prizes, how to enter, how winners are picked — listed on this page and shown where the Giveaway is announced.

If a Giveaway’s own details differ from these rules, the Giveaway’s details control for that Giveaway. Taking part in any Giveaway means you agree to these rules and that Giveaway’s details.

Who Can Enter

Unless a Giveaway’s details say otherwise, Giveaways are open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 or older (or the age of majority where they live, if higher) when they enter.

Not open to No Porch’s owners and helpers or their immediate family or household, or to anyone involved in running the Giveaway. Campground partners and their staff may enter only if that Giveaway’s details allow it. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

Always Free to Enter

No purchase or payment is ever needed. If a Giveaway ever gives entries with a purchase, it will also offer a free way to enter (for example by email or mail) with the same chance of winning, explained in that Giveaway’s details.

Ways to Enter

Each Giveaway says how to enter. It may be one or more of these:

• Sign-up drawing: create a new free account or membership during the entry period.
• Member drawing: be an active member, or do a stated free action (such as planning a trip), during the entry period.
• Contest: submit a photo, story, review, video or other entry that is judged (rule 13).
• Referral reward: invite friends who join using your link, as the Giveaway explains.
• First-come reward: the first set number of eligible people to complete a stated step win.
• Form entry: fill in a free entry form on our website.

Liking, following, sharing, tagging or commenting on social media is never required to enter and never earns extra entries.

Entry Limits and Fair Play

• One entry per person per Giveaway unless that Giveaway says otherwise.
• One account per person. Duplicate, fake, borrowed or automated accounts and entries (bots, scripts, throwaway emails) do not count and may be removed.
• For sign-up Giveaways, only accounts made during the entry period count.
• Our records (sign-up times, server clock, Central Time) decide when an entry was made.
• We may disqualify anyone who cheats, tampers with entries, harasses others or breaks these rules, and may remove their entries.

Prizes

Each Giveaway lists its prizes, how many there are and their approximate retail value (ARV). Prizes have no cash value and cannot be transferred, sold, or swapped for cash or another prize. One prize per person per Giveaway unless that Giveaway says otherwise.

If a prize becomes unavailable, No Porch may give a prize of equal or greater value. Prizes do not include travel, stays, fuel or anything not listed.

Membership Prizes

• A prize membership given before paid memberships launch starts on the official launch date.
• 1-year membership: one year of a No Porch Primary Member membership from its start date. It does not renew or charge you; after the year you may choose to buy a membership.
• Lifetime membership: a No Porch Founding Member membership, for the lifetime of the No Porch membership program, as defined in Member Terms 03.
• If a winner already has a paid membership, the prize is added to it (for example, one more year), or upgrades it, as No Porch chooses.
• Membership prizes follow the Member Terms. They do not include or promise any campground discount or stay; members book and pay each campground directly.

Taxes

Winners are responsible for any taxes on their prize. For any prize with an ARV of $600 or more in a year, No Porch may need the winner’s tax form (such as a W-9) before the prize is given, and may report the prize as required by law.

How Winners Are Picked

• Drawings: picked at random from all eligible entries, by the date in that Giveaway’s details. Odds depend on how many eligible entries are received. If there are fewer eligible entries than prizes, every eligible entrant wins, in the order stated in that Giveaway.
• Contests: picked by judging, as in rule 13.
• First-come and referral rewards: given to everyone who meets the stated goal first or in full, up to the number of prizes.

No Porch’s decisions on winners are final.

Telling and Claiming

Winners are told by email at the address on their No Porch account (or the address given on the entry form). A winner must reply within 7 days, unless the Giveaway says otherwise, or the prize may go to another entrant picked the same way.

Before a prize is given, a winner may be asked to confirm they meet these rules, and for higher-value prizes to sign a short statement saying so. A prize may be withheld from anyone who does not meet the rules.

Winners List and Sharing

For a list of a Giveaway’s winners (first name and state), contact us through our contact page within 60 days after that Giveaway ends. With a winner’s OK, we may share their first name, state and, for contests, their winning entry. We never share a winner’s last name or contact details.

Contest Entries and Judging

A contest’s details will say what to submit, how to submit it, and how entries are judged (for example creativity, quality and how well it fits the theme). Entries are judged by No Porch or judges it picks. Entries must be the entrant’s own work, must not show anyone who has not agreed to be shown, and must not be copied, unsafe, hateful, misleading or illegal. Entries that break these rules are removed.

Your Content

You keep ownership of anything you submit. By submitting it, you allow No Porch to show, edit, publish and share it, with credit by first name where possible, on our website, social media and marketing, without payment. You confirm you have the right to give this permission.

Social Media Platforms

Giveaways may be announced on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or other platforms. No Giveaway is sponsored, endorsed or run by, or connected with, Facebook, Meta, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Google or any other platform. Each entrant fully releases those platforms from any responsibility linked to a Giveaway.

Privacy

Information you give to enter is used to run the Giveaway and contact winners, and is handled under our Privacy Policy. We never sell it.

Changes and Cancelling

No Porch may change, pause, extend or cancel a Giveaway if fraud, technical faults, a platform rule, a law change or anything outside our control harms its fairness or running. If a Giveaway is cancelled, we may pick winners from the eligible entries received before it stopped. We may update these rules for future Giveaways; the version shown when a Giveaway started applies to it.

Release and Limits

By entering, entrants release No Porch, its owners and helpers from claims linked to a Giveaway or a prize, as far as the law allows. No Porch is not responsible for lost, late or incomplete entries, emails that do not arrive, or website, network or device problems.

Disputes and Law

These rules are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama. Any dispute will be handled individually, not as part of a group or class action, in the state or federal courts located in Alabama, unless the law where the entrant lives requires otherwise.
