Questions & Answers
Frequently Asked Questions
Clear answers for RV travelers, Early Access users, members, campground partners, and local businesses.
Accounts and Membership
What is No Porch Camping Co.?
No Porch Camping Co. helps RV travelers discover participating campgrounds, save on eligible stays, and use complete campground travel guides covering food, attractions, hidden gems, trip ideas, and RV essentials.
What is an Early Access account?
Early Access is the temporary free-account system being prepared before paid membership opens. It is intended to let users log in and view available guide content without entering payment information. Creating an Early Access account does not automatically make someone a paid or Founding Member.
What will Founding Membership cost?
The planned Founding Membership is a $50 one-time payment for lifetime access to the No Porch Camping Co. membership program. Founding availability will be limited, and the final cap may be adjusted before sales open.
What does lifetime access mean?
It means access for the lifetime of the No Porch Camping Co. membership program—not the lifetime of an individual campground, discount, website feature, partner, or person.
What happens after Founding Membership closes?
New members are expected to join through one Basic Membership priced at $49.99 per year. Existing Founding Members will retain their founding designation and lifetime program access.
Are membership purchases open now?
No. No Porch Camping Co. will not open paid membership sales until at least 25 active campground partners are ready with complete travel guides.
Are membership fees refundable?
No. Membership purchases are non-refundable except where a refund is required by applicable law.
Campground Savings and Booking
How much can members save?
Participating campgrounds may offer members 50% off the eligible standard nightly campsite rate during dates and under rules selected by that campground.
Does the discount apply to every date and every site?
No. Each campground controls eligible dates, blackout dates, site types, stay limits, frequency limits, and availability. Peak periods and holidays may be excluded.
How do members book?
Members book directly with the campground and must request the No Porch Camping Co. discount when making the reservation. The discount is space-available; campgrounds do not have to hold dedicated member sites.
How many campsites can one membership discount?
One campsite may be discounted per membership at a time, and the named member must personally stay on that site.
Can the member discount be combined with another offer?
No, unless the campground specifically approves combining offers.
How is membership verified?
Members may be asked to provide their name, member number, digital membership card, identification, or QR verification when booking or checking in.
Travel Guides and Local Benefits
What is included in a campground travel guide?
Guides may include campground details, arrival ideas, trip plans, food and drink, attractions, seasonal information, rainy-day options, RV essentials, firsthand notes, and available member savings.
Will local businesses offer member discounts?
Some local businesses may choose to provide a member offer. These discounts are optional, vary by business, and may not be available near every campground.
Can nonmembers see the guides?
Public visitors may see campground profiles and previews. Complete member-guide content is intended for eligible logged-in accounts and paid members once access controls are fully activated.
Campground Partners
How does a campground join?
Campgrounds submit the partner application and proposed offer. No Porch Camping Co. reviews the property, details, restrictions, and information needed to create the campground profile and guide.
Who controls when the discount is offered?
The campground does. Partners control blackout dates, eligible days, available site types, maximum nights, frequency limits, and other stay rules. The program is designed to help fill otherwise empty sites—not displace full-price peak business.
Do members book through No Porch Camping Co.?
No. Reservations and payments are handled directly by the campground through its normal process.
Can a campground change its offer?
Yes. A campground may change its offer or restrictions by giving No Porch Camping Co. at least seven days’ notice so the website and member information can be updated.
What do Founding Partners receive?
The first 15 approved Founding Campground Partners are planned to receive complimentary monthly social-media advertising for the life of the company, subject to the partner terms and continued participation.
